About Education
MHN Academy's MEB-approved Permanent Makeup Training combines theory and practice in a comprehensive vocational program for those beginning a professional beauty career or strengthening existing skills.
At our academy in Kadıköy, Istanbul, you learn essential techniques including facial anatomy, brow design, pigment and color theory, professional micropigmentation devices, and permanent makeup for brows, eyes and lips.
Alongside aesthetics, we emphasize skin analysis, facial symmetry, color selection, hygiene, sterile procedures, pre-treatment assessment and aftercare. You will also explore the fundamentals of modern brow techniques, including microblading, hair-stroke and powder methods.
In classes of up to eight, you can develop your skills through theory and practical exercises supervised by experienced instructors. We provide professional devices, equipment, pigments and supplies.

The Ministry of National Education (MEB) Permanent Makeup Technician Course Program is intended for individuals who have entered their 19th year of age and completed at least primary school or elementary education. Registration and participation requirements are assessed when applying.
Throughout MHN Academy Permanent Makeup Training, you will learn the theoretical foundations of professional permanent makeup and develop technical skills and aesthetic judgment through hands-on practice.

Module 1 – Introduction to the Profession, Hygiene and Occupational Safety
Fundamentals of permanent makeup; a professional work environment; personal hygiene and disinfection; sterile working conditions; disposable supplies; preventing cross-contamination; occupational health and safety; and professional ethics.
Module 2 – Skin Anatomy, Facial Analysis and Design
Skin structure and characteristics; facial anatomy; evaluating face shapes; principles of symmetry, proportion and balance; and planning permanent makeup designs suited to a client's features.
Module 3 – Pigmentology and Professional Color Theory
Color theory; warm and cool tones; skin undertones; pigment properties; appropriate color selection; pigment handling and storage; and evaluating color harmony in permanent makeup.
Module 4 – Permanent Makeup Devices and Equipment
Introduction to professional micropigmentation devices; handpieces; needle and tip types; supplies; safe equipment use; preparing the work area; and basic maintenance principles.
Module 5 – Professional Brow Design and Micropigmentation
Selecting brow shapes suited to the face; brow measurements; symmetry; drawing and design methods; machine-based brow micropigmentation; powder brow approaches; and the fundamentals of natural-looking brows.
Module 6 – Permanent Eye Makeup: Eyeliner and Lash-Line Enhancement
Assessing eye shapes; planning suitable permanent eye makeup; fundamentals of eyeliner and lash-line enhancement; symmetry; consistent lines; and the precautions needed for delicate work around the eyes.
Module 7 – Lip Contouring and Lip Pigmentation
Lip anatomy and shape analysis; symmetry; color selection; outlining; lip micropigmentation; natural color transitions; and the fundamentals of lip tinting procedures.
Module 8 – Pre-Treatment Assessment and Post-Treatment Care
Initial client consultation; evaluating suitability; gathering health and sensitivity information; informed consent; aftercare; explaining healing stages; and recognizing potential risks.
Module 9 – Practical Applications and Career Development
Supervised preparation and design work; practice on suitable training materials; applications on live models when safety conditions are met; client communication; professional service processes; and career development in permanent makeup.
At MHN Academy, Permanent Makeup Training is based on learning by doing. Theory is reinforced through hands-on exercises guided by our experienced instructors.
In classes of no more than eight, students actively participate in facial analysis, brow design, pigment selection, professional device use and permanent makeup practice. Our instructors monitor technical progress closely and provide individual feedback.
Students practice design and application on appropriate training materials to develop essential skills. We emphasize safe working habits and confident handling of professional equipment.
Our live-model support provides supervised opportunities to work on real models, subject to suitability and safety assessments. Students encounter different facial features, brow structures and design needs to develop experience.
MHN Academy provides the professional permanent makeup devices, pigments, disposable application supplies and other equipment used in training.

MHN Academy Permanent Makeup Training is a vocational education program approved by Türkiye's Ministry of National Education (MEB).
Participants who fulfill attendance and achievement requirements and pass the required theory and practical exams may receive an MEB-approved Course Completion Certificate in accordance with relevant regulations.
